College Credit ...

We know how important college credit is to some participants. Every course we offer is eligible for College Credit through ITCAP in cooperation with Pima Community College in Arizona. The same course, at the same time, can be offered as credit or non-credit. ITCAP will work with your College or directly with the student to provide the credit, whichever is your preference. More information is available at their web site www.itcap.com. You can also offer the program for credit from your own College.

Offering college credit is an excellent way of encouraging participants to attend training events while showing the company/organization’s commitment to the training. The participants see the training as a benefit not just another session they are required to attend.

Many companies/organizations have ‘Tuition Reimbursement ‘programs that are funded from a different source than ‘regular’ training. This allows you to ‘spread’ the training dollars for a company/organization further. Finally, some companies/organizations believe their workers receive a better education experience when college credit is offered as part of the training activity.
