CERTIFICATION NOT REQURIED

Our leader guides are instructor friendly so your leaders can pick up the guide and facilitate the program with ease. We include facilitator suggestions and answers, notes, tips and more. The left hand page of the leader guide has the administrative information and the right hand page has the participant information [exactly as in the participant’s workbook].

For new facilitators or programmatic requirements certification can be provided with a full Train-The-Trainer program including multiple ‘teachback’ opportunities for the facilitators.

COLLEGE CREDIT

Offering college credit is an excellent way of encouraging participants to attend training events while showing the company/organization’s commitment to the training. The participants see the training as a benefit, not just another session they are required to attend.
Every course we offer is eligible for College Credit through ITCAP in cooperation with Pima Community College in Arizona.

BI-LINGUAL SUPERVISION SERIES

As individuals become supervisors, they need Supervisory Skills to be successful regardless of whether they speak English or Spanish. Current research shows that most Hispanics in pre-supervision or supervision can communicate verbally with success but are somewhat challenged with reading and writing in English. To address this problem we created a Spanish version that is identical [page for page] as the English version, allowing the facilitator to present in English so both groups can participant. The exercises, brief reading, and small group discussions are in Spanish in the Spanish version and in English in the English version. By combining the two groups in the same class you generate team work, a consistent application of the rules, plus uniform follow up/reinforcement. This guarantees consistency of communication, reduced time away from the job [one session versus two sessions] and maximum learning outcomes from the sessions.
